You cannot join truth, consciousness, blissfulness into a single word. The Sanskrit word is sachchidanand. All three words are joined. Sat is there, chit is there, anand is there — but they are not separate, and there is no gap: sachchidanand.

Making sense of today’s world is difficult (gross understatment). Finding meaning and purpose close to impossible with the perennial bombardment of micro-messages across all channels (TV, work, personal relationships and social media) to adopt consumerism, greed, jealously and achieve somebody’s perceived definition of success. I started this blog firstly to share my experiences and inner conflict but also to move away (albeit temporarily) from the hamster wheel of daily life that was designed by a totalitarian person / government / society that forces us to find meaning in “things” that are completely trivial when looked at it from a perspective of a human who has a limited amount of time on earth.

Enough of my soap box drama .. truly about me – mid to late 30s; “successful” (per the guy above) at work, doting father and unbelievably grateful person – to have found my loving partner in crime early and blessed to have both parents and a unwavering star of an older sibling
